14.3. Comments

You may comment on a document if the author of that document has given permission to do so. When a document has comments, the link Comments will appear in the left sidebar. Press this link to display or hide comments.

14.3.1. Making comments

In that case you will notice two buttons, Comment and Side comment in the the upper left of the main document window. Pressing one of these buttons will bring up the comment editor.

Write your comments in the form given below in the comment editor, then press the blue comment or side comment button.

If the comment is accepted, it will look like the one below. If you don’t see the comment, press the Comments link in the left sidebar.

14.4. Authorship of comments

Noteshare does not permit unsigned comments. Comments are dated and signed with the screen name of the commenter.

14.4.1. Permission to make comments

The author of a document can place it in a group and make it "commentable". If you are a member of this group, you can comment on it.
