1.1. Editing tips

1.1.1. Order of sections

637

You can change the order of the sections. While in edit mode, push the TOC (Table Of Contents) button. This will transport you to a screen like the one you see below. Find the section you want to move, type the code for its destination in the corresponding box, and press the return key. For example, if you want section 3 to be where section 2 is, type "2" in the box to the right of "Basic Algebraic Geometry." To put section 3.2 where section 3.1 is, type "3.1" in the box to the right of "Projective Space".

1.1.2. Numbering

To number the sections of a note, put this text: :sectnums: in the text before the numbering is supposed to begin. To turn off automatic numbering, put :!sectnums:

1.1.3. Table of contents

In the standard view mode (View > Standard), a table of contents is displayed.
