### 14.2. Managing Groups

For the moment, groups other than the default grouop your account came with are created by request: noteshare.io@gmai.com

Every group has an owner. The owner can add and delete both users and notebooks, and can also set properties of notebooks. Deleting a notebook only removes it from that group. It does not destroy the notebook.

A document (Notebook) can be readable, writeable, or both. A group can have a mix of documents of different types — some could be read-only, while others could be both readable and writeable.

A document can be part of any number of groups.

#### 14.2.1. The Group List

A list of all groups that you belong to is displayed in the right-had pane of the Home. Click on the name of a group for more detail. You will teleport to a page with two lists: the notebooks attached that group, and the members of the group.
