# Noteshare Handbook

## 5. The menus

On the right is the Menu bar selector. It has five buttons. Four are used to select they way in which Noteshare is used — browser notebooks, read a notebook, write new material, upload and manage media. The fifth is a hotlist of active notebooks.

• Browse: press this to search for notebooks or to search for words within notebooks.

• Read: press to read a notebook

• Write: use to create the text of a new note, or to edit the text of an old one.

• Media: Use to add or search for images, audio files, videos.

• Hotlist: Show the most recent courses that you have pinned.
